edge (city) conditions [Lower Mainland, British Columbia]

this month i wanted to initiate a new kind of dialogue on topics relating to urban revitalization and what it means to interrogate the fabric of its nature. to better understand this particular urban situation, connecting cities where borderlines define them, architects and planners need to understand the site's socio-economic structure. what is more integral to the distinction between new development and historical precedence is having the ability to discern of what types of connections are being utilized to improve the community?

here is my initial attempt to communicate one design call for connecting people of border communities together.

building communities through sustainable green spaces + architecture. the (hub) house would serve as a conventional focal point between 2 or more connecting urban communities.
